Are you a graduate looking to gain experience in a secondary school science department, supporting Biology, Chemistry and Physics through KS3 & KS4?
 
Could you utilise your degree subject and help supporting under-achieving science students through the KS3 & KS4 national curriculum?

As a Science Teaching Assistant, you will be tasked at provided 1:1 and small group support to under-achieving students through the science curriculum. You will have the opportunity to take these students out of the classroom and provide specific and structured support, giving you the chance to feel what it is like to be a teacher.
 
The school is based in the Ward of Ladywood, which consists of Ladywood, Nechells, Aston and Soho. Graduates will find travel easy coming from North Birmingham and Sandwell. Various public transport routes (bus and train) make the school easily accessible. The Science Department already employ 4 Science Graduates so support and guidance will be available to you.
