As an English Graduate, you will be working as a Teaching Assistant within the English Department, supporting pupils through the KS3 & KS4 curriculum. You will be working on a 1:1 and small group basis, taking the kids out of the classroom and giving them tailored lessons to help raise their attainment levels.
The school is based in South Birmingham, not fair from two main roads in Birmingham. This makes the school easily accessible via public transport. The English Department is one of the strongest in the school and prides itself on developing Teaching Assistants and helping prepare for teacher training.
