We are currently looking for a graduate who has a passion for education. As a Teaching Assistant in a primary school, you will be working with the students on a 1:1 and small group basis, supporting them through Literacy & Numeracy. This is a perfect opportunity for a graduate who is looking to gain experience, prior to starting a teacher training opportunity in the near future.
The school is situated in South Birmingham, in the Ward of Northfield. This Ward consists of Kings Norton, Northfield and Longbridge. 60% of the children are on free school meals, with 30% having some form a SEN requirements. The Headteacher has a down to earth, bubbly personality, and runs the school like a family.
This opportunity also comes with various training modules which will be provided free of charge. This training is based online and will give you insight into what school life is like. Once complete, you will receive numerous certificates to prove completion.
