This secondary English Teaching Assistant role is to work within the English Department, supporting students through the KS3 & KS4 curriculum, taking the students out of the classroom and working with them on a 1:1 and small group basis.
The school is based in South Birmingham, based in the Ward of Selly Oak. Towns including Brandwood, Selly Oak and Billesley. The school is just off one of Birmingham’s main roads which make the school easily accessible via public transport (bus and train). The school deploy numerous graduates into each department and have had great success in raising the pupils attainment levels, as well as giving graduates the skills, knowledge and experience they need to help apply for teacher training in the near future.
