This Teaching Assistant opportunity is perfect for a degree level candidate who is looking to gain experience, prior to teacher training.

The role will be to guide five students in Year 4, supporting them through Literacy and Numeracy. You will have the opportunity to take them out of the classroom and working this them on a 1:1 basis as well. These children are at the national average academically and are looking for a graduate to push them through the barrier and raise their attainment levels.
 
The school is situated in Erdington, not too far from Spit Fire Island. Various bus routes are available right to the doorstep of the school via the Chester Road.
 
The school, in 2016, was deemed ‘Good’ by Ofsted and has since made massive improved, due to the COVID crisis. Their way of teaching and learning is unique and seems to be benefitting all who are involved. The Headteacher is keen to meet graduates who are looking to gain experience prior to teacher training and who really want to make a difference.
