The Role:
Work alongside class teachers across KS1 and KS2 to deliver short, targeted interventions in reading, writing and maths. Provide 1:1 support, guide small groups, prepare simple resources, and keep brief impact notes to inform next steps. Reinforce routines, encourage positive behaviour, and help pupils build confidence and independence.
 
The Candidate:
You’re a graduate who communicates clearly, stays organised, and engages pupils with concise explanations and structured tasks. You follow guidance, use initiative in sessions, and keep learning focused on measurable progress.
 
Requirements
• Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
• Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Desire to work in education/with children – Strong interest in primary education and pupil progress.
• Experience working with children – Any relevant experience (tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
