***£350 - £400 per week

For this role you will need a maths related degree, an understanding of the mathematics curriculum and the ability to create engaging intervention groups. You will need to be able to lead the groups with confidence as you will be a vital part of the students learning giving them that subject specific support. You must want to pursue a career in education in the future.
In this Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant role, you will be supporting underachieving maths students in 1:1 and small group interventions. These groups are important to the students learning as it will allow them to engage more from the small group. Some of these students may struggle to learn in a classroom environment so these groups will massively benefit them. These intervention groups are there to help bridge the gap between them and their peers.
This ‘Good’ North Solihull secondary school has excellent staff that will support you during your time at this role. The facilities will be at your disposal ensuring you can create fun and exciting intervention groups to keep the children engaged. This school is easily accessible by public transport.
