***Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant
***Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham
***£350 - £400 per week
***Long-term contract, September start
***Supporting in 1:1 and small group interventions
For this role you will need a degree, an understanding of the primary curriculum and the ability to lead engaging intervention groups. You must be a confident speaker as you will be delivering these groups to KS1 & KS2 pupils. The ideal candidate must want to pursue a career in education.
In this role you will be supporting underachieving KS1 & KS2 pupils in 1:1 and small group interventions. These groups will help the pupils bridge the gap between them and their peers by engaging them in fun and exciting ways to learn. You must be able to tailor your groups to meet each child’s educational needs. You will be working closely with the class teacher to ensure all interventions are up to standard and will benefit the children.
This ‘Good’ North Birmingham school is located in the ward of Sutton Coldfield. The school is known for their excellent senior leadership team and strong work ethic. The supportive staff will assist you throughout your time in this role. This school is easily accessible by public transport and has a secure staff car park.
