***Graduate History Teaching Assistant
***£350 - £400 per week
***Long-term contract, September start
***Supporting students in 1:1 and small group interventions
For this role you will need a history related degree, a natural ability to lead engaging intervention groups and the passion to pursue a career in education and want to further their knowledge and understanding of teaching. You must be able to create and maintain healthy working relationships with students and staff members.
In this role you will be supporting under-achieving history students in 1:1 and small group intervention groups. These groups are key to the students learning as it will give them the subject specific support they need. These students may struggle to interact in a classroom environment. You must be able to create exciting ways to learn to keep the children engaged in their learning.
This ‘Good’ North Birmingham secondary school is located in the ward of Erdington. The excellent staff will support you during your time at this role. The facilities will be at your disposal ensuring you can create fun and exciting intervention groups to keep the children engaged. This school is easily accessible by public transport.
