***Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant
***Hodge Hill, Birmingham
***Long-term contract, September start
***£350 - £400 per week
***Supporting in 1:1 and small group interventions
To be successful in this role you must have a Psychology related degree, am understanding of the school curriculum and a natural ability to form strong bonds with the pupils. Being clear and well-spoken to ensure when leading these groups, you are well understood. You must have a passion to pursue a career in education.
In this role you will be supporting underachieving KS1 & KS2 pupils in 1:1 and small group interventions. You will be given a lesson plan from the class teacher for you to use to create fun and exciting intervention groups. These children may struggle to cope in a large classroom and would benefit more from the smaller groups. Engaging the children is crucial for their progression as this will give them the chance to really get involved in the learning.
This North Birmingham primary school based in the ward of Hodge Hill has brilliant and supportive staff that will help and aid you through your time at this role. The facilities will be at your disposal to ensure the highest quality of learning for the pupils. This school is easily accessible by public transport and has a secure staff car park.
