***Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant
***£350 - £400 per week
***Long-term contract, September start
***Supporting KS3 & KS4 students in 1:1 and small group interventions
For this role you will need to have a maths related degree, an understanding of the secondary school maths curriculum and the ability to create and lead engaging intervention groups. You must be a confident speaker as you will be leading small groups of students and these will be key to the student’s progression. The ideal candidate must have a passion to pursue a career in education.
In this Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant role you will be supporting underachieving maths students ensuring they are engaged in their learning. These groups are important to their learning as it will bridge the gap between them and their peers. You will be working closely with the class teacher to ensure all intervention groups are up to standard.
This ‘Good’ North Birmingham has excellent maths facilities that will be at your use. The supportive staff will assist you during your time at this role. The school is easily accessible by public transport and has a secure staff car park.
