***£350 - £400 per week
***Long-term contract, September start
***Supporting English students in 1:1 support and small group interventions
For this role you will need an English related degree, an understanding of the secondary school curriculum and the ability to create and lead engaging interventions. You must be a confident speaker as you will be leading KS3 & KS4 groups. The ideal candidate must want to pursue a career in education.
In this role you will be supporting KS3 & KS4 English students in 1:1 and small group interventions ensuring that all pupils are engaged in their learning. These interventions are key to the student’s progression as it will help bridge the gap between them and their peers. Some of these students may struggle to interact in a classroom environment and will greatly benefit from these groups. You will be working closely with the classroom teacher to create exciting and new ways to learn.
This North Birmingham secondary school is based in the ward of Perry Barr. The brilliant facilities will be at your use during your time in this role. The supportive staff will assist you and give you the relevant feedback. This school is easily accessible by public transport and has a secure staff car park.
