***Supporting underachieving pupils in 1:1 and small group interventions
For this Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant role, you will need a degree, an understanding of the primary curriculum and the confidence to lead groups of children. You will need to be good at interacting with children as you will play a vital role in the pupils learning and progression.
In this role you will be supporting underachieving KS1 & KS2 pupils in 1:1 and small group interventions. These groups will help the pupils bridge the gap between them and their peers by engaging them in fun and exciting ways to learn. You must be able to tailor your groups to meet each children’s educational needs. You will be working closely with the class teacher to ensure all interventions are up to standard and will benefit the children.
This ‘Good’ North Birmingham school is based in the ward of Perry Barr. The senior leadership team are fantastic and are always looking at places to develop and improve. The supportive staff will aid you throughout your time at this role. This school is easily accessible by public transport and has a secure staff car park.
