***Long-term contract, September start
***£350 - £400 per week
***Supporting 1:1 and small group interventions
To be successful in this role you need to have an English related degree, a strong understanding of the English curriculum and the confidence to lead small groups of students. Being a strong communicator is key as you will be leading groups and giving the students subject specific mentoring.
In this role you will be supporting underachieving students in 1:1 and small intervention groups. These groups will help the student raise attainment levels and bridge the gap between them and their peers. Some of these students may struggle to concentrate in a classroom environment and will benefit more from the small groups. You will be working closely with the class teacher to create fun and engaging interventions.
This ‘Good’ North Birmingham school is led by a fantastic senior leadership team, with supportive staff that will help you throughout your time at this role. The students are eager to learn and are open to gaining as much support as possible.
