SEND Teacher - Complex Needs
SEND Teacher required for a complex needs school in Central Birmingham. Are you a qualified SEND Teacher looking for a new challenge? Do you hold QTS and have experience teaching students with complex needs? This is an excellent opportunity for a SEND Teacher to join a supportive specialist setting with small classes, outstanding resources and an experienced team of Teaching Assistants.

As a SEND Teacher, you will teach a small class of students with complex learning needs, planning and delivering lessons that are adapted to meet individual abilities and needs. You will work closely with experienced TAs and the wider school team to create a positive learning environment and support students to make progress.

Previous experience as a SEND Teacher or working with students with complex needs is essential, and you must hold QTS. The successful SEND Teacher will be patient, creative and confident adapting their teaching to meet a range of individual needs.

Job Role:

• Teaching a small class of students with complex needs.
• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs.
• Working closely with an experienced team of Teaching Assistants.
• Monitoring student progress and supporting individual targets.
• Building positive relationships with students.
• Creating a safe, structured and engaging learning environment.
• Working closely with the wider SEND team and school leadership.
