This Teaching Assistant role involves both 1-2-1 and small group support, helping pupils engage with learning, develop independence and build confidence. The successful Teaching Assistant will be patient, proactive and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting both the academic and personal development of pupils.

Job Role:

• Working as a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs
• Providing 1-2-1 support as a Teaching Assistant for students who require additional help
• Supporting small groups in your role as a Teaching Assistant
• Assisting the class teacher as a Teaching Assistant in delivering lessons
• Helping pupils develop communication, independence and social skills as a Teaching Assistant
• Promoting positive behaviour and engagement as a Teaching Assistant
• Working collaboratively with staff as a Teaching Assistant
• Supporting a safe and structured learning environment as a Teaching Assistant
