Job Description
School Administrator – Primary School
Are you an organised and friendly School Administrator with previous school-based experience? Do you enjoy working in a busy environment where you are the first point of contact for parents, pupils and visitors? This welcoming primary school is looking to appoint a reliable and professional School Administrator to support the smooth running of the school office.

As a School Administrator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day administration of the school. You will act as the first point of contact for parents and visitors, manage calls and enquiries, and support the wider staff team with essential administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a school office, be confident communicating with parents and staff, and be comfortable using school management systems such as Arbor or SIMS. This is initially a short-term temporary opportunity and requires a School Administrator who has an Enhanced DBS and can start as soon as possible.

Job Role:
  • Acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors and external agencies
  • Managing the school reception area and greeting visitors
  • Working hour are 08:30 – 15:30
  • Answering calls and responding to general enquiries
  • Making calls home to parents regarding attendance or school updates
  • Supporting the day-to-day administration of the school office
  • Maintaining and updating pupil records using systems such as Arbor or SIMS
  • Assisting with attendance monitoring and general administrative tasks
  • Supporting the leadership team and staff with administrative duties
