Maths Teacher – Part-Time - Small Groups & 1-2-1
Are you a QTS Maths Teacher looking for a rewarding part-time role where you can make a genuine difference? Do you enjoy supporting young people who require a more personalised approach to learning? This specialist setting is looking to appoint a Maths Teacher to work two days per week, supporting students who are experiencing mental health challenges.

As a Maths Teacher in this setting, you will teach mathematics on a 1-2-1 and small group basis, helping students to rebuild confidence in their learning and develop their understanding of the maths curriculum. The school provides a calm and supportive learning environment where students benefit from personalised teaching and a strong pastoral approach. This role requires a teacher with excellent subject knowledge, patience and the ability to build positive professional relationships with young people who may have experienced barriers to education. This role requires Qualified Teacher Status and is not suitable for an ECT.

Job Role:

• Teaching Mathematics on a 1-2-1 and small group basis
• Planning engaging lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of individual students
• Supporting students who are experiencing mental health challenges
• Helping students rebuild confidence and engagement with education
• Monitoring, assessing and recording student progress
• Working collaboratively with support staff and external professionals
• Providing pastoral support and encouragement for students
