This Central Birmingham secondary school is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team, supporting Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students across the curriculum.

Job Role:
• Providing classroom support for students in Key Stage 3 and 4
• Delivering 1-2-1 support for pupils who require additional help
• Supporting small groups to boost learning, confidence and progress
• Assisting teachers with planning, preparation and classroom activities
• Helping students stay on task, develop independent learning skills and engage with lessons
• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional resilience
• Recording student progress and sharing feedback with teaching staff

You Will Need:
• Previous experience working with secondary aged students preferred
• Good communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
• A patient, adaptable and encouraging approach
• Confidence supporting students across a range of subjects
• A desire to help young people succeed and enjoy their school experience
