Job Details

Phonics Lead required for Ofsted “Good” Special Educational Needs School.  Are you an experienced Phonics Lead or SEN Teacher with an excellent understanding of Read Write Inc? Have you previously worked with a range of Special Educational Needs including, Autism, ADHD, Complex Learning Needs, and some SEMH needs. As a Phonics Lead you will primarily be based in once class as this school follows a primary teaching model, you will also be acting as a Phonics Lead, supporting other classes in the cluster. The school has a wonderful team of SEN Teachers and Teaching Assistants who ensure that every childs needs are met.

As a Phonics Lead in this vibrant, bright and nurturing school, you will enjoy working with some absolute superstars! The school caters for children across Key Stages 3 – 5, and many of these children are working at primary level. Experience working with special educational needs is essential for this role, and the school are happy to consider a teacher with primary or secondary experience, providing that the have phonics and SEN experience. This role requires QTS. I love this school, the atmosphere is amazing, and it gives every child access to education.

Job Role:

  • Acting as Phonics Lead across the cluster
