Job Details

Primary Teacher – SEMH School. Are you a Primary Teacher who has a passion for teaching children who have faced barriers to education? Do you get a buzz from breaking down barriers and seeing those “light bulb” moments? This fantastic SEMH school are looking to add a Primary Teacher to the team to teach small classes of Key Stage 2 pupils with a range of social emotional and mental heath needs. This role requires a Primary Teacher with excellent behaviour management, plenty of resilience, and a desire to make a difference.

As a Primary Teacher at this school you will be teaching classes of no more than 8 children, and receive excellent support form  an experienced team of teaching assistants, who are caring, proactive and determined to make each day special for students. You will be joining an experienced team of Primary Teachers, and will be provided with an abundance of training and support. This role requires a QTS Primary Teacher and is not suitable for an ECT Primary Teacher.
Job Role:

  • Teaching small classes of Key stage 2 children with additional needs
  • Effectively managing classroom behaviours, with the support of Teaching Assistants
  • Full planning and marking responsibilities, ensuring lessons are engaging and informative
  • Taking part in whole school activities, rewards days and team building
