Job Details

Science Teacher required for a large East Birmingham Secondary School. Do you love teaching? Are you passionate about your subject?  This busy secondary school are looking for a Science Teacher   to join an ambitious and committed team of Science Teachers. This school has fantastic laboratory facilities, and a small, experienced team of Science Technicians to support you in delivering practical experiments. If you are a driven Science Teacher who wants to be part of a proactive team with good subject knowledge and a love for teaching, look no further.

AS a Science Teacher you will be teaching across Key Stages 3 & 4, with full planning and marking responsibilities. The Head of Science is supportive, and will ensure that you have everything that you required to deliver outstanding lessons. Behaviour is generally good, and there is a keen interest in science. You will have access to excellent facilities and a range of shared resources that have been developed by the existing Science Teachers, allowing you to hit the ground running. This role requires a Qualified Science Teacher with good subject knowledge and classroom management skills,
Job Role:

  • Teaching across the Biology, Chemistry and Physics curriculums
  • Delivering practical sessions in line with H&S guidelines
  • Working with a dedicated team of Science Teachers to plan lessons
  • Inspiring a love for Science, making lessons engaging and informative
  • Raising attainment and maintaining outstanding teaching practices
