Teacher – Maths & English – SEMH
This vibrant SEMH school is looking to add a Teacher to the team to teach both Maths and English up to GCSE standard. This role requires a Maths Techer or English Teacher who is comfortable to teach both subjects. You will be joining an established team of teaching and support staff who are passionate about making a difference!
As a Teacher at this school you will be teaching small classes of no more than 6 students, many of which have EHCPs and receive 1-2-1 support. A good understanding of SEMH needs and how to manage challenging behaviour sis essential for this role, as you will be working with students that have faced significant social and academic barriers. If you join this team you will receive a fantastic welcome and feel part of the team from day one, training is exceptional and you are given the freedom to make lessons engaging and creative.
- Delivering Maths and English Lesson to small classes
- Full planning and marking responsibilities
- Involvement in whole school activities and trips
- Working with support staff to ensure every child gets the most out of each day
- Early finish on a Friday and extra time for training etc…
