This Ofsted “Outstanding” SEN School is currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a caring and committed class Teacher.  You will be working with a wonderful KS2 class of 5 children with a range of complex learning needs, ensuring that every child is given all the tools required to get the most out of each and every day. You will also be joining an experienced team of Teaching Assistants that also support the Teacher.

As a Teaching Assistant you will be working with both 1-2-1 and small groups if children. Helping them to complete task and get involved in lessons. A calm, caring and empathetic approach is a must for this role. This school is generally a happy, caring and welcoming place to be, and you will feel like part of the team from day one! Job role:

  • Supporting children with a range of special educational needs on a 1-2-1 and small group basis
  • Working with a friendly and supportive team of Teaching Assistants
  • Breaking down barriers to education and making learning fun
  • Taking part in whole class activity days and school trips
  • Enjoying access to a range of training courses available for all staff
  • Delivering 1-2-1 sessions focused on cognitive and sensory development
