Teaching Assistant required to support a Key Stage One boy on a 1-2-1 basis for an immediate start. Are you a Teaching Assistant who has previously worked with Autism? This lovely primary school is looking for a TA to work on a 1-2-1 basis with a male Key Stage one child who has recently received an EHCP. The school is looking for a friendly and caring Teaching Assistant who has previously worked with Autism, ADHD or complex needs to provide tailored 1-2-1 classroom support.
As a Teaching Assistant you will be supporting the class teacher, and helping this pupil to get the most out of each day. Alongside providing classroom support you may be asked to deliver 1-2-1 intervention sessions focused on literacy and numeracy. School experience and a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) are essential for this role.
- Providing classroom support for the teacher, including managing behaviours
- Working ion a 1-2-1 basis to ensure the child gets the most out of lessons
- Breaking down academic and social barriers
- Working with a team of teaching Assistants to make sure school is a fun and safe place
- Working with the SENCO to implement an action plan for the child
