Maths teacher required to work with small classes of GCSE students that no longer attend mainstream education. We are looking for a Maths teacher who enjoys breaking down barriers to education, and making maths lessons fun and engaging. This fantastic Alternative Provision are looking for a Maths teacher who is passionate about making a difference and inspiring young people. This school provides a caring and nurturing environment for children with SEMH needs, with a fantastic pastoral team who are focused on positive intervention. You will be working with an established team who have a fantastic understanding of SEMH needs, and there is opportunity for continues development and progression.
- Teaching Key Stage 3 & 4 Mathematics to small classes
- Teaching Maths up to GCSE
- Taking part in whole school activities, including trips and enrichment days
- Working with an experienced pastoral team to manage challenging behaviours
- Acting as a positive role model for students who have faced social barriers
