Teacher of English required for an immediate start to teach students who have been excluded from mainstream education. We are looking for an English Teacher who is passionate about helping children to overcome barriers to education and discover a love for English!  This wonderful Alternative Provision is looking to add a Qualified English Teacher to the team on an ongoing basis.

You will be teaching English up to GCSE to small classes of students. The school has a fantastic track record of academic success and a highly effective behaviour policy. This is a wonderful opportunity for an English Teacher with good classroom management skills and a love for their subject, to make a difference!
Job Role:

  • Teaching English to classes of no more than ten students
  • Working with the pastoral team to manage classroom behaviours
  • Early finish with reduced planning and marking responsibilities
  • Inspiring a love for English and heling students to reengage with education
