Job Details

Behaviour Mentor required to provide 1-2-1 support for a Male Key Stage 4 student who has faced significant social and academic barriers. We are looking for a Behaviour Mentor to act as a positive role model for this student, manage challenging behaviours, and provide classroom based support. This is a challenging but rewarding role that requires patience and empathy. You will be working closely with the school leadership team to ensure that this child is given the necessary support to help him reengage with education.
 
This role requires experience working with challenging behaviours, ideally in a SEMH School or residential setting, as you will be expected to utilise a range of de-escalation  techniques. This supporting Alternative Provision provides a nurturing environment for students who have struggled in a mainstream environment.  
 
Job role:

  • Supporting a young person who has faced significant barriers toe education
