Kind, caring and patient teacher required to teach children with Complex Needs at an Ofsted “Outstanding” Special Educational Needs School in Birmingham. We are looking for a teacher who has experience teaching small classes of children with a range of additional needs, including Complex Needs, Speech & Language impairment, and Autism. You will be teaching small classes of Key Stage 1 & 2 children, with the support of a wonderful pastoral team, and an experienced senior leadership team.
The school has fantastic facilities, access to an extensive range of resources, and provides a warm and welcoming setting for both staff and children. This if a fantastic long-term opportunity, with the potential to turn into a permanent position for the right person.
• Teaching small classes of Key Stage 1 & 2 children with additional needs
• Utilising a team of wonderful Teaching Assistants
• Making lessons fun, engaging and interactive for children
• Using a range of resources to help children access education
• Planning and delivering lessons
• Working with small groups of children to provide intervention sessions
