Long-term vacancy for a Teaching Assistant to support a child with additional needs on a 1-2-1 basis.
Do you enjoy supporting children with additional needs? Have you worked with Autism or Complex needs? We are looking for a Teaching Assistant or LSA to join a fantastic team at a local SEN school on an ongoing basis, providing 1-2-1 support for a Key Stage 2 child with complex needs.
This warm, friendly and supportive SEN school are well recognised for the fantastic work that they do supporting young people with additional needs, and are looking to add a dedicated Teaching Assistant to the team. The leadership is fantastic and the teaching staff are passionate about ensuring that every child is given the opportunity to engage in education.
- Supporting children with special educational needs on a 1-2-1 basis
- Working solely with the class teacher to make learning accessible
- Communicating effectively with the pastoral team
- Taking part in whole school activities
- Providing academic and social mentoring for students
