SEND Teaching Assistant required to provide 1-2-1 support for a Key Stage 2 child with Complex Needs. This school requires a Teaching Assistant or LSA who has previously worked with Autism and Complex Needs to provide classroom based support on a 1-2-1 basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-established SEND setting that has a reputation for delivering a high standard of pastoral support.
As a Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for ensuring that the children you work with are provided with a safe and nurturing environment in which to learn. The children that you will be working with have Complex Needs and Autism and require a calm, caring approach. The Team are passionate about breaking down barriers to education, and making school a fun place to be!
- Working as a Teaching Assistant on a 1-2-1 basis providing tailored support
- Making education accessible for children with additional needs
- Working closely with the class teacher and support staff to make lessons fun and engaging
