Job Details

Teaching Assistant required to work with small groups of children with complex needs. This brilliant special school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has a passion for supporting children with additional needs, and who has prior experience supporting children with Autism or Complex Needs. You will be joining a friendly and welcoming team who are committed to making a difference and, who enjoy giving back.

The school has fantastic facilities and an abundance of resources available to ensure that every child is given the best support possible. Teaching and support staff are dedicated to what they do, and committed to ensuring a high standard of care and education is provided. As a Teaching Assistant you will be based in a small class of children with a range of complex needs, and may be required to work on a 1-2-1 basis. This is an opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join a great team on an ongoing basis.
Job role:

  • Supporting children with Autism and Complex needs on a 1-2-1 and small group basis
  • Taking part in whole school enrichment activities
  • Making every day a fantastic experience for the children that you are working with
  • Provide positive intervention and de-escalation
  • Supporting the Teacher during lessons and working with small groups
