Job Details

1-2-1 Learning Support Assistant required to work with young adults with additional needs. We are looking for a kind, caring and empathetic Learning Support Assistant to provide academic support in a classroom setting.  This role is ideal for a Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant who has experience working with young adults (18 -24) or has previously worked within a Special Educational Needs School.

Job Role:

  • Providing 1-2-1 and small group support as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant
  • Working with young adults with disabilities, providing educational and social support
  • Providing an alternative from mainstream schooling and colleges
  • Supporting in exciting work related learning sessions
  • Providing a strong focus on skills and learning
  • Understanding the needs of your learners and tailoring your approach to suit these
