Science Teacher required to teach small classes of Key Stage 3 & 4 students at a vibrant Alternative Provision. This school is looking to add a qualified Science teacher to an experienced and friendly team of teaching staff. With fantastic facilities and great support from Teaching Assistants and an experienced pastoral team, this is a wonderful opportunity to teach Science outside of a mainstream setting.
You will be teaching classes of no more than 8 students, allowing you to differentiate your lessons to suit individual needs of students. The school has a fantastic reputation for helping young people reengage with education, and is looking for an engaging, empathetic and patient Science Teacher to join the team. A good subject knowledge and confident classroom management is essential for this role.
- Planning and delivering science to Key Stages 3 & 4
- Managing classroom behaviours effectively
- Working with the pastoral team to ensure that every child is able to access education
- Running practical experiments with the support of a science technician
- Making learning fun and engaging for students
