Job Details

Boys PE Teacher required to teach small groups of students at a local SEMH school. We are looking for a PE Teacher with good classroom management skills to teach Key Stage 3 & 4 PE to students who no longer attend mainstream education. This role is perfect for a teacher who enjoys being creative with their lessons, and who enjoys tailoring their approach to suit individual needs of students.

The school offer fantastic support for all staff, and is looking to add a PE teacher who is able to build rapport with students quickly. Delivering lessons that keep students engaged and motivated is essential as you will be working with students who can find it hard to engage in lessons. The school has a fantastic leadership team and a great team of supporting staff. This role is suitable for either QTS or  ECT teachers.
 
Role:

  • Teaching PE to small classes of Key Stage 3 & 4 students
  • Supporting the running of extracurricular sports teams/clubs
  • Working with the Teaching Assistants to ensure individual needs are catered for
  • Making lessons fun for students
  • Promoting teamwork and cooperation
