Teaching Assistant required to work on a 1-2-1 basis with a male Key Stage 4 student who no longer attends mainstream education. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has experience supporting children with additional needs, and is comfortable working with challenging behaviours. As a Teaching Assistant at this school you will be providing 1-2-1 support in small classes. You will be responsible for providing behavioural and academic support during lessons, and ensuring that the child you are working with has the appropriate help required.

- Working on a 1-2-1 or small group basis
- Help students to engage with lessons
- Providing support to teaching staff when needed
- Building rapport and trust with students
- Leading on fun classroom activities
Ideally, you will:
- Have experience working as a Behaviour Mentor or Teaching Assistant
- Have worked with challenging behaviour and Special Needs
- Be able to break down barriers to communication
- Have a calm, patient and positive approach
- Be able to challenge students when required
