Are you an experienced tutor? Have you worked with Special Educational Needs or SEMH? Are you looking for a rewarding role working with young people that no longer attend mainstream education? The Education Network is currently recruiting for tutors to work with Key Stage 3 & 4 students that no longer attend mainstream schools. This role involves working on a 1-2-1 basis, delivering core subjects to students who require additional support.
This role requires a calm approach, and the ability to build rapport with students. You will need to be passionate about making a difference, and be passionate about breaking down barriers to education. This role requires experience as a tutor or teacher, and a good understanding of the curriculum. Experience working with SEMH or SEND is desirable.
Ideally you will be
- A qualified teacher or experienced Tutor
- Used to finding creative solutions
- Encouraging participation in lessons
- Happy to work on a 1-2-1 basis
- Have your own transport
- A friendly, professional and dedicated Teacher or Tutor
- Able to provide recent, relevant education references
