Are you a Science Teacher who enjoys teaching students who have faced barriers to education? Are you considering a career teaching within the SEN or SEMH sector? The Education Network is looking for a QTS or QTLS Sciecne Teacher to teach small classes at a fantastic Alternative Provision that supports  children with a range of SEMH and Special Educational Needs. This dynamic school are looking to add a confident Science Teacher who is passionate about giving students a second chance.

The school is looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, and inspire students to be passionate about science. You will receive outstanding support from in class Teaching Assistants and a proactive pastoral team, who cater for the needs of students. Excellent communication skills, an abundance of resilience, and a good sense of humour are essential in order to be successful at this school.
Job Role:

  • Teaching small classes of students who no longer attend mainstream school
  • Ensuring that lessons are tailored to meet the needs of the children that you support
  • Working closely with the support staff to make sure no child is left behind
  • Make learning interesting for students and help them to achieve the best they can
