Job Details

Learning Mentor required to support within an Alternative Provision, supporting children who face a range of social and emotional challenges and need additional. You will be working on a 1-2-1 and small group basis on core and vocational subjects as part of a dynamic and proactive teaching and support team. As a Learning Mentor you will also be responsible for managing classroom behaviours, providing additional academic support and acting as a positive role model for the students that you support.
Ideally you will be:

  • An experienced Learning Mentor or Teaching Assistant
  • Happy to work on a 1-2-1 or small group basis
  • Used to working with some challenging behaviour acting as a moderator
  • Confident in the support of core and vocational subject
  • Keen to work as part of a committed team
  • Happy to go the extra mile to achieve the required outcomes
