For this role you will need experience working with children that have social, emotional and mental health needs and, challenging behaviours. You must patient and be willing to adapt to any situations that arise, as there will be challenging moments. This role is extremely rewarding, as you will be enabling students to overcome barriers to education, and you will see the ongoing development in the children.
In this SEMH Teaching Assistant role you will be supporting the students with their day-to-day needs. Some of these students may struggle to cope in a large classes and will benefit significantly from the 1:1 and small group interventions. These groups are key to their progression as it will develop their confidence and social skills.
This Wolverhampton based school has fantastic, supportive staff that will help and guide you through your day-to-day life. You will have access to excellent facilities that you can use in your small groups.
