GCSE Academic Mentor – English
 
Are you an English graduate looking to support through GCSE English preparation?
 
Could you utilise your skills and provide 1:1 and small group intervention sessions to under-achieving GCSE English students?
 
*** GCSE Academic Mentor - English
*** £75 - £85 per day
*** Immediate start until July 2024

If you’re an English graduate looking to gain experience, prior to starting a teacher training programme in the near future… this is the role for you!
 
As an Academic Mentor, you will be working with GCSE English students, supporting them through the English national curriculum and preparing them for examinations, which take place in May. You will work on a 1:1 and small group basis with the students, providing tutoring and intervention sessions.
 
The school is based in Birmingham and be easily reached via public transport. There are two train stations that drop you within a mile of the school entrance.
 
Over the past 8 years, the school have been deploying graduates into support roles, in an effort to raise attainment across the entire school… and its working. Going from requires improvement to a good school in less than 4 years.
