Are you a versatile and nurturing teacher with a passion for inclusive education? The Education Network is working closely with a highly supportive Medical Needs & SEN school to recruit a dedicated KS3 Science Teacher who can also deliver Humanities and English to students with a range of medical, emotional, and neurodiverse needs.
This is a rare opportunity to join a specialist setting that prioritises well-being, therapeutic support, and personalised learning. You’ll be teaching small groups of KS3 pupils who are unable to access mainstream education due to long-term medical conditions, mental health challenges, or SEN needs.
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated KS3 Science lessons, along with Humanities and English where required
• Adapt the curriculum to support students with diverse learning needs and EHCPs
• Build strong, trusting relationships with students, providing emotional and academic support
• Work collaboratively with SENCOs, therapists, support staff, and families
• Contribute to a nurturing, trauma-informed learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) – ECTs welcome to apply
• Experience teaching Science, with confidence in delivering Humanities and English at KS3
• A patient, flexible, and empathetic teaching approach
• Experience in SEN, PRU, alternative provision, or medical needs settings is highly desirable
• A commitment to inclusive education and holistic pupil development
