SEND Support Assistant – Bingley

The Education Network is currently recruiting for experienced and passionate SEND Support Assistants to work on a supply basis in a specialist SEN school based in Bingley.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are committed to supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and who are looking for flexible work within a supportive school environment.
About the Role Working as part of a dedicated team, you will:

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties.
• Assist teachers with the delivery of tailored learning programmes and support plans.
• Promote independence, engagement and positive behaviour.
• Contribute to a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support pupils in both academic and social development.

About You We are looking for candidates who:

• Have previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND (in school or alternative provision).
• Are patient, understanding and committed to helping every child reach their potential.
• Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Have good communication and teamwork skills.
• (Desirable) Hold a relevant qualification such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, or equivalent.
