Salary: £90-£100 per day (dependent on experience)

The Education Network is recruiting for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Bingley. This welcoming and supportive school caters for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
We are looking for someone who is committed to making a real difference in the lives of young people and can provide the patience, encouragement, and consistency they need to thrive.
The Role:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis with their learning and personal development.
• Assisting with classroom activities, sensory sessions, and therapeutic interventions.
• Encouraging independence and building confidence in pupils with a wide range of needs.
• Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
• Promoting a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an SEN school or similar setting is highly desirable.
• A caring, patient, and resilient approach.
• Ability to use initiative and adapt to changing situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
