Are you a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing and inclusive school in Shipley.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEND needs
- Supporting pupils on ECHP’s
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to ensure pupils are fully supported
- Promote independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing in pupil
This role is ideal for:- Teaching assistants with SEND experience
- Graduates with a background in psychology, education, or child development
- Individuals with experience in care, youth work, or mentoring
Requirements:- Experience working with children with SEND
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
