Location: Sherburn in Elmet, North Yorkshire

Salary: £100–£120 per day (depending on experience)

Are you passionate about education and looking to make a difference in the classroom? We are seeking a confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a supportive secondary school in Sherburn in Elmet. As a Cover Supervisor you will also support the school during non-cover periods, which may include general teaching assistant duties and wider student support.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of subjects
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Support students with their learning and encourage engagement

Requirements:

• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage behaviour confidently and positively
