Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant who enjoys making a difference in the lives of children with autism? Do you have the patience, empathy, and dedication to support pupils as a Teaching Assistant in a nurturing primary school environment?
We are seeking a committed and compassionate Autism Support Assistant to join our inclusive and forward-thinking primary school in Bingley. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with children who have autism, helping them to thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with autism, tailored to individual needs
- Support pupils in developing communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation skills
- Create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
- Monitor progress and contribute to regular reviews and reports
What We’re Looking For:- Experience working with children with autism or other SEND needs
- A calm, patient, and nurturing approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for inclusive education
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Autism Awareness training) are advantageous
