Behaviour Mentor


Behaviour Mentor required for one of our favourite Alternative Provisions in Birmingham.  As a Behaviour Mentor you will be supporting behaviour on a 1-2-1 and small group basis with boys and girls that need the most support at School level. An element of the Behaviour Mentor role will be pastoral as well as providing much needed support in lessons in particular for core subjects.  This is a nice environment with committed staff who always put the children first.


Ideally you will be:-

  • A Learning Mentor or Teaching Assistant
  • Experienced working in an Alternative Provision
  • Happy to work with challenging behaviour
  • Able to provide pastoral support
  • Looking for a supply long-term or permanent role
  • Used to working with children and young adults that need additional support within and beyond the school gates
