The Education Network is currently recruiting qualified Nursery Nurses to work in our client schools on a daily and long term basis.
The perfect candidate will have experience of supporting EYFS infants in either a school or nursery setting and will hold the minimum of a level 3 qualification including; CACHE, NVQ, BTEC in Childcare or similar.
The role will include:
- Planning and supervising class activities
- Supporting children in numeracy and literacy
- Reading stories
- Supporting children’s speech development
- Supervising trips
- Finding ways to stimulate children particularly those with special and sensory needs
- Ensuring children are safe at all times
- Reporting any safeguarding issues
You may also be required to act as a key worker for a number of children, monitoring their progress and development. You will then be required to pass this information on to teachers.
