Are you a caring qualified Teacher who is passionate about SEN and live in West Yorkshire?

The Education Network are working in partnership with a wonderful and welcoming SEND school that requires additional teaching staff for short term and long term cover. We are looking to recruit qualified teachers who can be called upon, on a regular basis to cover short term and long term absence within the school.  We also have work available in other SEND and mainstream schools.

The school caters for children aged from 11 to 19 with MLD & SLD – Autism/Aspergers/ASD, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Physical Needs etc. The school has modern facilities – sensory room, drama studio, music studio, library, sports hall, health suite, medical room, large playgrounds etc

The successful candidates will have relevant qualifications and experience teaching pupils with one of or a combination of the following special needs: MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder), EBD (Emotional Behaviour Disorder), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties), Hearing Impairments and Visual Impairments. Experience of working within a SEND school or Behavioural Unit would be beneficial. You will also need to hold QTS for these positions. Team Teach training would be advantageous.
